Saturday Workshops Our studio is offering four Saturday workshops for the winter session, prices include all the materials you will need. Times are from noon until three except for paper-marbling which is from one to three.

Saturday January 28, Easy Printmaking Techniques. Noon to 3, $30

Make your own stamps using easy-cut linoleum and learn a new way to make beautiful prints using just styrofoam and a ball point pen. You will be amazed at how beautiful and simple these are to make!

Saturday February 4, Paper-Marbling, one to three. $25

Marbling paper can be tricky, and messy. Make the mess here in the studio and find out the secrets to the ancient art of paper marbling in time for Valentine’s Day.

Saturday February 11, Simple Monotypes, noon to three. $30

Monotypes are a printmaking technique which the artist makes one unique image. The process is more painterly than most printmaking techniques and often more experimental. If you are looking for a bold way to experiment with color and texture try this workshop.

Saturday February 18, Collagraph techniques, noon to three. $30

Up-cyclers wanted! Learn to use found objects to add texture and surprises to your printmaking plates. During this workshop we will be making collages on a matrix which will be printed by the end of the day. This interesting technique can be challenging but quite fun. Flex your artistic muscles.
